Nessie Rediscovered
Posted in Mystery by Codename Sheba at 8:57 pm |
That icon of my childhood, the Loch Ness Monster, is in need of a renaissance. Nessie is burned into my memory as a huge, benign-looking pseudo-apatasaurus paddling through the murky depths. Those depths seemed to have swallowed her sometime after the 70s. You just don’t hear too much about the Loch Ness Monster these days. Seems like interest in lake monsters has moved to the Far East.
The Nessie tourism industry is still alive and well, however, in the Scottish Highlands. If you aren’t going to take the high road and visit Loch Ness yourself, then take the low road with this article; it’s a nice overview of the Nessie environs.
